Hello students at Essrig Elementary!
I wanted to find a way to communicate with you all because I really enjoyed the Great American Teach-In in November and so many of you had questions and wanted more information. I thought this would be a great way to share with you some of the exciting things we do in NOAA.

Yesterday, we left the warmth of Tampa, Florida for the snow capped mountains of Anchorage, Alaska enroute to Yokota, Japan for a Winter Storms research project! We leave Anchorage Thursday at 12noon Alaska time and arrive 2pm the next day Japan time. Crossing the dateline is so much fun!!!
